How does ReferLink work?

Client Consent

Propose Prospr to your clients early in the mortgage process and and obtain their consent to be referred.

Referral Submission

Fill out the referral form. You will need to enter your and your clients contact details and some information on their mortgage.

Compliance

After submitting the referral you will receive an email with the Referral confirmation document, you can get this signed by your client for your compliance records.

Client Experience

Can I send multiple clients in one referral?

No, you need to send each client individually. This will generate the appropriate confirmation letter for each individual.

What do I do if the borrower has declined to be referred to Prospr?

If you offered to refer your clients to Sun Life and they declined you can use the link to obtain a declined form for your compliance purposes, this option can be found at the top of this page under the “Start a new referral button”.

Are there any specific things I need to say to gain consent?

“A Sun Life Advisor will reach out to you, are you okay with that?”

How do I know the lead was sent?

There will be a confirmation on the screen that the referral was successfully sent. You will also receive an email with the Prospr by SunLife Insurance referral confirmation letter attached. Please check your spam folder if you aren’t seeing it

I didn’t receive the confirmation email - what do I do?

Check your spam folder for an email from prospr_referlink@lendesk.com, if you still can't see it please contact the Lendesk support team at support@lendesk.com.

I input incorrect information into the referral - what do I do?

Resubmit the referral and add a note at the end explaining what happened. This is particularly important if the borrower's contact information is incorrect.

I want to follow up on my referral. Who do I contact?

You need to contact your brokerage owner. They have the right access to this information and can provide an update.

How much will I earn selling Prospr?

Up to $850 on the first policy placed for each client. With activation rates as high as 30%, offering Prospr can be incredibly lucrative for brokers. You can however earn more! If you refer both a borrower and a co-borrower and they both get a policy you can get paid for BOTH. You could earn $1,700 per application!
